Early Autumn Pottery Workshop
Sign up now for two fun Sunday "crafternoons" of ceramics open to all ages and skill levels! Participants will hand-build their clay creations September 20th, decorate their bisque fired work with underglazes September 27th, and pick up finished work on October 11th after it is glaze fired.

About the event
This fun, all-ages workshop will take place over two Sundays, September 20th and September 27th, from 2pm to 4pm. We will work with pre-rolled slabs of clay, creating a variety of hand-built projects. Artists in previous workshops have made: spoon rests, platters, saucers, nesting ramekins, bowls, coasters, holiday ornaments, small sculptures, fairy furniture, toadstools, and garden art.
All work will be bisque fired to Cone 06. Work will be painted with underglazes on 9/27. After a clear glaze is applied, work will be fired to a Cone 6. Finished work can be picked up on 10/11 from 2pm to 3pm. Everything will be food, microwave and dishwasher safe. Artists under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Class sizes are limited. All skill levels welcome! A new sliding scale makes art more accessible to everyone in our community: $165 general admission, or $125 equity rate.
